“We had a delightful stay in New Iberia at The Bayou Chateau (our pup agreed). Clean, comfy and a beautiful location on the bayou. Mickey and Tiffany are most personable and thoughtful hosts. We couldn't ask for more.”

“This place was essentially exactly as pictured and described. It was ideal for our needs on this particular trip. Its proximity to maybe the hospital or something means that it can be subject to fairly constant traffic sounds. Cars passing by. But this did not bother either of us whatsoever.Someone mentioned to shortage of available electrical outlets, true! But just because the place is older and not so expensively built. You can find a way to plug your stuff in, for sure. My suggestion to the……

“Perfect location and space for coming to visit the area. Ample space for cooking in the kitchen, good space for separating angsty siblings, and great location to access all areas of Lafayette. Host was easy to communicate with from initial booking through departure. We really enjoyed the stay and look forward to booking here again next time we're in town!”

“All in all the place is great, no complaints. Full of little quirks though: you can absolutely find places with a lot more space in the same price range and general area.A few things to note which don't appear in the listing:- "no hidden fees" except insurance (or a 3 grand deposit for which the host has no accounting duty)- the pictures you see is the entirety of the living space, there is nothing else; that means close to zero counter space, two folding tray tables, and yes it's a Murphy bed-……
