“Get away from it all in a charming tiny home cabin (that doesn’t feel at all tiny). Extremely clean, well appointed, light filled, comfortable cabin - in the woods but not completely isolated. Wildlife sightings, Penrose Point State Park very close. Responsive host. Green all around. Rejuvenating. My cousin visiting from LA, and I from Portland, LOVED our stay! Highly recommend!”

“Our stay at The Cabin was just great! The weather allowed the three kids in our party to play outside for hours and hours—they loved the lawn when the tide was high and the beach when the tide was low. Everyone was charmed by the log cabin interior and the stairs to the third bedroom were fun for us. The kitchen and bathrooms were nice and we appreciated the seating options since there were seven of us. I’m not sure when we’ll have the opportunity to go back but would consider The Cabin again!”

“We enjoyed the opportunity to take a winter break at this comfortable cabin on Wye Lake. Check in was easy and verything we needed was available. The weather was nice enough for a peaceful kayak paddle around the lake.”

“Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very nice. Would have liked more light in the dining area. Felt like the 10:00 am check-in was a bit early and we seemed very rushed to check-out. Ended up not having time to really look around the area because of the snow.”

“Cute, small footprint cabin directly on the water with a beautiful view of the mountains. We had a relaxing stay and had the beach to ourselves for nearly the whole time we were there. We fed deer by hand, saw a dolphin and some seals from our deck, and found countless treasures on the beach. A few things to note- it is a studio a frame set up- much smaller than we anticipated from the pictures. The main bedroom is really in the living room right behind the front door with no door or privacy...

“Cozy studio is a few feet from the Canal! Enjoyed the water, tidal action and purple martins nesting. An Osprey put on a show, fishing for his dinner! Hood Canal oysters are the best! Believe me, I come from a long line of oyster lovers!”

“Checking in was very easy! House is right on the beach, stairs directly in front of the cabin so it makes it easy to walk right down to the beach and grab oyster or let you little ones find treasure’s! We used the fire pit which was great and we roasted s’mores as well! My son found a wine bottle that had floated to shore with a message in it, he couldn’t have been more excited! The house its self is stocked well with all the essentials, the sauna and hot tub were an added bonus! We would...

“A nice quiet place by the water! I was in the area for a rehab seminar by myself and it was a nice quiet place to relax. Easily one of the best places to have a cup of coffee and watch the wildlife on the water! The down the grassy trail to the steps can be a little sketchy in a downpour but it’s otherwise worth it! ”

“Such a cute little house. We only ran into a couple of issues. There were bugs that found their way into the house (like a lot of lady bugs) but the weather was just warming up. The other was that the shower was slow to drain. If you have more people staying, the only bathroom is located inside the main bedroom, so if people take late night bathroom trips that can be an issue. We loved the location and the property was so clean. The views were stunning and the hot tub was a huge plus!...

“We had an amazing stay at the cabin on Benson lake. The cabin is well equipped and we enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommend!”

“Really enjoyed our stay on the island. Comfortable place. Liked having a choice of bedrooms (up or downstairs), and having two bathrooms. We made good use of the kayaks everyday, even when it rained one day. It was difficult to find all the kayak choices since many of the marking on the kayaks are wearing off. We also noted that the one garbage can outside was full when we arrived nd we really struggled to put our own trash in it the we left. It seems it should have been empty when we arrived....

“I enjoyed the house, very pretty decorations and clean. I would recommend investing in more outdoor chairs to sit on the deck and possibly removing the gaming PC and placing a TV or a stereo system for some music choices in the front of the house. Neighborhood was very calming and quiet and also close to where we were hiking. The beds were SUPER comfortable as well. We all slept great!”

“Cute little place. Provided a keurig but only had tea. No big deal just noting. Bathroom lighting is not great. Heating is hot as hades or cold. Hard to find happy medium with baseboard heat but to be expected. If you’re parking an SUV, plan to finagle your way out. Overall, I was happy with this unit.”

“We found the cabin to be cozy and comfortable. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and open living/dining room was great for our family of 3 to be able to hang out in. The neighborhood was a little bit of a mixed bag but was fine. The little convenience store around the corner was great.”
