I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. "We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The living room was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and the garden was great. We got lots of sun on the decking and adored the sauna! The upstairs bedrooms are bright and large. The bedroom with the en-suite is small but cosy. The en-suite is more of a wet room but that was fine for a couple of days. It’s about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Margate which we found totally reasonable. "

"The former home of Lord Kitchener offers large rooms and surroundings with old times charm. Room Kimberly had a specious sitting room with fridge and a smaller bedroom with loft ceiling. Didn't have a breakfast. Tried the small gym and small swimming pool, access code changes daily. The once beautiful grounds need a bit more attention . Free parking, decent price. Highly recommended"

"Our room had a few issues when we arrived. It was cold, the water didn't drain away very well and the tv handset couldn't adjust the volume on the set, which was too high. Within 15 mins of reporting these issues, they had replaced the handset, cleared the sink and brought up a small radiator (and explained how the thermostat worked) The room was was clean and comfortable and the included breakfast was good with plenty of options. Would definitely stay there again"

"Clean and tidy hotel and the lady behind the bar on the Saturday night was great. Breakfast was really nice and the room was ok. Shower could do with an upgrade to maybe a lager shower head but it was fine. As its city centre it was quite noisy at the front especially as the hotel is surrounded by noisy bars that are open till late. Lucky for us we were in one of the bars until 1:30 so not to bad but this could be an issue for others."

"The accommodation was quiet , spotless and staff friendly and efficient. The breakfast ( included in the reasonable room rate ) was superb and there was so much choice. Only 10 min pavement walk to the sea front and from the station . Also bus stop directly outside the hotel ( the Loop which runs til late evening every day ) ....every 10 to 15 mins if you don't want the walk. There is a lift to the upper floors and we had really efficient aircon in our room. We will definitely stay again ."
