Because of the construction, we did not really have access to the town itself. We did go in one day but it seemed to have limited options. The sugar mill was interesting for a short diversion. Lobosonda whale watching trip was excellent.






If you're looking for some top things to see and do in Estrela da Calheta and surrounding area, you can visit Casa das Mudas Arts Center and 25 Fontes and Cascada da Risco.

The room was clean, the view beautiful and the staff friendly ! Food was not incredible, but the buffet was varied, different every night and you could always find something!
