Booked for a wedding i was attending at wennington hall as it’s only a couple minutes away, Hosts are friendly and very welcoming and the breakfast was fantastic can’t fault anything thanks again

Relaxing night away

A lovely night away. Absolutely beautiful room and both hosts were really welcoming. Breakfast was also really nice. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Wonderful

Wonderful location. Amazing house. Owners very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was lovely. Bed was a little small and the roll top bath is really good if you around 5ft.

Wonderful stay in this beautiful property where we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Our room was fabulously decorated with many unique and quirky items to enjoy, the large bathroom was equipped with bath and shower and plenty of lovely toiletries. Lots of choice for breakfast which was plentiful and delicious would definitely recommend a stay here and hope we will return in the near future.

The Homestead

The Homestead, a beautiful B&B with great character. Sits in Melling about 5 miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The hosts Kevin snd Maria, couldn't do enough to make our stay as memorable as possible. Kevin dropped us and picked us up from one of the local pubs, that we had booked in for ouf evening meal. Whilst Maria cooked wonderful breakfasts. Definitely worth a visit, we are looking to book again.

If I could give more stars I would! Outstanding hospitality, your kindness was very much appreciated. We have stayed in some fabulous accommodation but The Homestead is magnificent! I’ve never seen anything like it! I’d would recommend to anybody. Such a lovely couple who own and live there, extremely generous and very helpful. The breakfast, facilities are unmatched in my opinion, they truly go above and beyond for their guests.

The wow factor!

We stayed overnight to break a long journey and couldn’t believe the gem we found! Kevin and Maria are excellent hosts, breakfast was superb and the room was very comfortable. Just worth a mention though that the church clock opposite does ring every hour! We loved it!

A potched egg was an English scramble egg with salmon in it far to much no key for room no accesses to property without being let in by hotelier . Friendly bath tub couldn't get legs out straight in n I'm 5foit 6 room for a petite. Bed was luxurious.

Best b and b ever!

Beautiful home. Fantastic welcome from Marie and Kevin. Even helped us from the car to the room with our bags. All the info you needed to go out and about. Totally spotless and gleaming. So clean. Comfortable bed. Beautiful linen. Everything you needed. Breakfast was more like silver service. Crisp spotless tablecloth. Polished cutlery, beautiful crockery, nice hot food. Could not do enough for you. Definitely the best b and b we have been in. ...and we have been in a lot! Very much recommended, you will definitely feel spoilt. Xxxx
