The lodge is awesome and communication with Margaret the host is incredible, she responded to every email I sent asking questions about the area and generously offered us an extra night as we had to cancel our other stay due to ill health. The lodge has everything and is beautifully decorated with furnishings and even has netflix and wi-fi. The lodge is dog friendly with blankets provided should your furry friend decide they want to sit next to you on the sofa (we took our own as we knew ours would want to), dog treats were provided but the best dog friendly thing provided for us was the super dog lead which was hooked to the lodge so you could leave your dog sitting outside knowing they couldnt escape or catch the ducks that wandered to the lodge each day. The place is absolutely stunning and has everything you could possibly need in a home away from home.
