Quick and easy check in. Modern hotel with a very large room (king with lake view). Only parking option is valet so be prepared to pay for valet upon arrival. Within easy walking distance to more restaurants than you can visit. Disappointed that there wasn't a pool. Didn't like that price for breakfast went up if we didn't commit at check in. The price should be the same for guests regardless of when you decide to have it. Overall, a good experience

We had a lovely stay at Pukawa Village. Our apartment, 15A, overlooked a beautiful garden and the stunning Lake Taupō, making every morning and evening feel incredibly special. The surroundings were so serene and peaceful , truly the perfect place to relax and unwind. Honestly, the view and atmosphere reminded us of Lake Como in Italy, yet we were right here in beautiful New Zealand. It felt like a hidden gem. The owners are such lovely people , very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The property is very well maintained, and you can really see the care they put into keeping everything in excellent condition. All the amenities were perfect and thoughtfully provided, making our stay very comfortable. The location is definitely a 10/10 , quiet, scenic, and absolutely breathtaking.
