"We had an absolutely great time staying at the property. My parents stayed in the cabin. My sister and my family (3 adults, 4 kids) stayed in the larger lodge right next door. Location is on an off branch of the main river. 1 minute car ride, 5 minute bike ride, 30 minute canoe ride to beach. Beach is spectacular! Kids LOVED swimming in the lake and river. Property and interior were spotless. House has everything you need. Communication and check in was easy. Rental includes grill, bikes, and canoe. Kayaks were available to rent. Small grocery store, ice cream, and pasties in town 1/4 mile away. Munising 15 minute drive. Au Train falls 15 minute drive (highly recommend). Can’t say enough good things. We loved our stay!!"

"Our family of 6 enjoyed our 5-night stay at Nevins Lake. The kitchen, family room, laundry facilities, and bathroom were excellent. Our kids enjoyed the lofted bedroom. The main floor bedrooms are simple but worked well for us. The grounds are spacious, and the view from the back yard is beautiful. We enjoyed the firepit and back patio table, both with lake views. The tiki torches and unlimited firewood made for great times around the fire. The availability of 4 kayaks (1-person each), a canoe, a paddleboat, and a rowboat made it easy for all of us to get out on the water at the same time. Highlights for us included swimming in the lake and fishing (good pike, smallmouth bass, and bluegill fishing; largemouth bass are available as well).The house is closer to the Pictured Rocks attractions than we expected. Our favorites were the Log Slide Overlook, Grand Sable dunes, Hurricane River hike along Lake Superior, Chapel Rock, and Miners Beach/Castle."

"Property was clean and comfortable. The lawn on the bay was a great spot for watching sunsets and visiting with travel mates. Breakfast was typical fare that worked for our purposes. Staff is friendly and helpful. The beds were amazing! We’d stay here again!"
"It was perfect!! Plenty of room for the ten of us with the lower level bedroom being ideal for our daughter and her whole family. Although a bathroom on that level would be optimal. Maybe at least put a mirror in that bedroom for convenience. The location was terrific so close to Munising and wonderful miners beach! Loved it and would recommend it to friends and family!"

"Everything about this stay was wonderful. Our whole family was able to be together under one roof and there was plenty of space for all of us. Au Train beach was fun, only a short walk. The property owner/manager were wonderful and super kind & helpful.Would definitely stay again if in the area. "

"Clean, convenient and comfortable! The apartment is no-frills, but completely equipped. Chad and Amanda respond quickly and efficiently. We had a great getaway in Munising. Hiked, biked, kayaked, cruised the Pictured Rocks. We love to sit outside in the evenings-Bayshore Park is an easy walk and a great place to unwind with a view. "
"Danielle is a great host and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. Midweek the lp tank on the grill needed to be exchanged. Within 15 minutes of me contacting her, it was done. We appreciated having a second sink and toilet, a well equipped kitchen, and using the row boat and kayaks. We enjoyed our stay here. "
"We enjoyed our stay in Elise and Randy‘s cottage. It was comfortable, extremely clean, had comfortable bedding, and there was great water pressure with plenty of hot water. It was also very well stocked. We did not need to communicate with the hosts while we were there because all of the information we needed was already provided which made the stay stress free. We would stay here again if in the area. One note: the stairs to the second floor where the bedrooms are and to the basement where the full sized washer and dryer are located are narrow and a bit steep. They could be troublesome for someone with mobility issues or those traveling with young children."
