The room I had was clean. Shower door was from hell. Coffee Pot was dead. No pool no breakfast as Expedia promoted. This is the perfect place if you are on a budget. I also love that it's pet friendly. The rooms are very clean and the owners and the staff are extremely welcoming and will get you what you need, such as extra towels, trash bags, etc. There are so many local shops that are within walking distance. There is a coffee shop right across from the Motel. There is a many golf/putt putt place directly beside the Motel. The only thing that I hope will be changed is that some of the rooms need an update. It's a little dated. The building is a little outdated, but the rooms are very clean. The staff was super friendly and even asked if we needed anything the next day (towels, soap, etc). I loved all the shops around the hotel, as a tourist it was great to walk. We were close to some great Restaurants. Go to Pop's Butt's on the Creek....The food was Ahmazzing. Only 20 minutes from Cherokee. I loved my time there! I will stay again! Well worth the $. Our visit was amazing. Maggie valley is one of the most beautiful places. The hotel has a wonderful view and they are very friendly. Family owned and pet friendly. I will definitely book here again. Plus, breakfast opens at 6:30am walking distance 😀.
