"The little cabin was so cute, well maintained and offered everything for cooking. The outdoor dining and grill area is perfect. Check in was as easy as driving in and parking. We arrived when it was very hot but all the windows opened to a wonderful lake breeze. There was good fishing right off the dock and plenty of lake to explore with the kayaks. Not too far into town we found a public beach for swimming, a place to rent a boat and a bar with tasty walleye and ribs. As an added bonus there was BINGO. "
"I needed a clean, comfortable, reasonably priced hotel for one night in the area. I got all of that, plus a nice breakfast with an omelette station. I would definitely stay there again."

"The cabin was very nice. Worked perfectly for our group. We spent a lot of time in the large screen porch. Dock was very solid and plenty of room for our two boats."

"We had a great time at Hygee lodge. It was perfect for our large group of 17. The large living area fit us all with ease and was a great place to play games when the weather was not perfect. The lake is quiet but big enough for water sports and some really good fishing. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating if you need any help. Thank you for a great stay. The kids, parents, and grandparents were all very happy and grateful for a chance to stay at such a great place! Thank you again!"
"I travel to this area regularly for work. I have stayed at many of the main brand hotels. NONE of them come close to the quality and cleanliness of this wonderful, "cottage." The rooms look nothing like a motel room, they feel like a cozy cottage in the country. They are immaculate. The staff is kind and accommodating. They were willing to work with my overnight schedule. I booked every stay there after my first night's stay!"

"Riverfront view was beautiful, outdoor area was well thought out. Cabin was very clean, furniture in good condition. Amenities did not match the listing description which was frustrating as I would have planned better had I known. DVD player and Xbox a nice addition for rainy nights. Listing wasn't clear that it was a porta potty and no shower source. Owner was very responsive via email, phone call and text. Place has great potential!!"

"Julie is a great host. This is my third year of coming here with my two brothers. We spend the week fishing, bouncing between Hemlock and Red Cedar Lake. Although a small/cozy cabin, it works for my brothers and I. We hope to continue meeting up there for our annual fishing trip!"
"We had 4 adults and 7 children stay here over the last week and it was simply amazing. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and off the boat where they caught some good sized northerns. The loons were amazing to watch every day. The bunks in the loft are a great addition. This home is very spacious and accommodated our large group with no issues. We were able to get a load of firewood from the neighboring campground in large quantities and that was a great option. The SxS trails were a nice ride and we were able to find some mud! "

"This is the second time me and my dog have visited. He doesn't do well with the loud noises from Wings over Wausau and where we live is right in the middle of that. This is the perfect getaway. It is always so nice here: quiet and peaceful. My dog loves to play ball and has plenty of room to explore. This is a great place to relax and recharge and get away from noise. Love the wildlife! Turkeys, birds of all sizes, deer and other critters. Our host is wonderful and so easy to communicate with and really makes you feel at home coming to the Cabin. Looking forward to our next visit. "
