"Staying at the McCarthy Lodge was like taking a walk through time. Lobby area at Ma's Boarding House was awesome and cozy. The gentleman who checked us in on Aug. 3rd was very kind and gracious. "Mike was utterly and perfectly accommodating--price was uppity for a tent but Mike made it all worth it--it was the ideal spot for close access to McCarthy and a close-up view of Mt. Blackburn and surrounding mountains--gorgeous--on the river--surround-sound included!"
