Awesome room with helpful staff

We loved the place! So close to shops and restaurants.

Appartement très beau, bien localisé, silencieux et très bien équipé. Partout où on regarde à l’air très bonne qualité. La seule chose que je peux dire est que l’Internet n’est pas inclus..on doit payer pour avoir du Wifi. Je ne crois pas qu’en 2026, une pratique soit acceptable. Et ce n’était pas mentionné ainsi dans le listing.

Sadly, Sorel is too expensive for what it is. It's obvious it used to be amazing but it's in need of a maintenance team and general refreshing. The rooms are clean but old. The hotel is seriously understaffed (one poor waiter in the restaurant) and the front desk staff is hit or miss. There are lightbulbs out all around the property and everything needs a fresh coat of paint. The daily expeditions, scenery and location of the hotel are great and why I'm giving the hotel 4 stars instead of 3. We did the Canyonlands tour, UTV tour and horseback riding. All of the staff running those activities were fantastic and are working hard. We didn't receive any services from the spa and can't speak to that.
