My biggest issue was with one of the receptionists, who consistently made simple things unnecessarily difficult. When I arrived, there were two receptionists and around 10 people checking in, yet he wasn’t helping at all. At checkout, he told me I wouldn’t receive my refund deposit until 5 p.m. because staff needed to inspect every room first. I pointed out they could simply check mine, especially since checkout was at 11 a.m. After a short discussion, he suddenly said they could have staff inspect it right away, which made the earlier explanation feel pointless.
The hotel also advertised paddle courts, but there were no paddle brackets available. Staff said they were “working on it,” which was disappointing. Breakfast was actually good, but another issue was that the hotel advertised having a gym when there wasn’t one. That felt misleading since amenities were an important part of why I booked this place.
