"I wasn’t sure what to expect when booking Vale da Lapa Village, but it completely blew me away. The property is stunning, the villa was spacious and comfortable, and the service was warm and welcoming. Andre checked us in and provided all the details we needed to enjoy our stay. We booked the half-board option, not realizing it included both breakfast and dinner—what an amazing surprise! The food was delicious, and while service at the restaurant was on the slower side (possibly cultural differences), the staff was always friendly. We stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom villa, and it was perfect for our family of four—plenty of room to spread out. I only wish we had more time to relax and enjoy the property itself. The grounds were beautifully maintained, though I’d love to see some additional pathways through the center of the resort to make getting around easier. The beds were quite firm, which didn’t bother me but might not be for everyone. On our last day, we noticed a few ants around the kitchen sink—possibly due to pouring soda down the drain—but overall, the villa was very clean and well-kept. The metal shutters on all windows and patio doors were unexpected but seemed to help with security, light, and sound. A car or Uber is definitely needed to get around, but the peaceful setting made it all worth it. Out of the three places we stayed during our trip, this was hands-down the favorite for our whole family."

"An excellent family friendly property, we all loved the pool, couldn’t keep the kids out of it. The gardens were also lovely and gave a nice backdrop to the villa. The availability of Uber and local taxis were a great help as the walk back from town, up hill, was too much for some of our party."

"The villa was exceptional - the pictures and description don’t do it justice! It is roomy inside and has really decent bathrooms and kitchen. Outside was better still, beautifully landscaped and various areas to suit everyone; whether you want sun or shade, there was always a spot.The pool is big and well maintained and we enjoyed the inflatables.This villa is clearly a holiday home used by owners rather than ‘just a holiday rental’, as it so well kitted out with a great selection of kitchen equipment, towels, pool towels, comfy beds etc.Marc was great and very accommodating of our requests, and communicated well before our stay.Liz who looks after it was also lovely and super helpful when we had questions!It is around 15-20 minute walk down the hill to the beach, and we also loved the boardwalk along the cliffs. We also visited Ferragudo (the beach there is great) and Lagos which we would recommend.All in all a 5* holiday that for us was faultless.Thank you!"

"This property is in a central location in west Algarve . It was spacious for 6 adults , and had all the necessary amenities . The home is clean , cozy and yet spacious . The grounds well kept and an amazing large pool . 5 minute car ride to various supermarkets and beaches . Our hosts were always available for questions . Memories were made in this incredible Vila !!
