“***Caution***when I booked this hotel I looked at the pictures for another hotel 20 min away with the same name that is right next to the D-Day museum. This one is not! This is a small fishing town with a fish market. Terribly confusing and felt like a bait and switch. Hotel room does not have AC so you need to open the windows. The staff is very friendly, no issues there. The room had a strong musty/mildew smell that would only go away if you opened the windows. However, if you leave open……

“Charming older hotel with lots of historical ambience. Very unique rooms that give an old-world feel. I will definitely stay here again. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. They welcomed the guests with a complimentary bottle of sparkly Normandy cider. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day in the well-appointed Breakfast Room. Located an easy walk to the restaurants and the Cathedral, as well as the Tapestry Museum. Kudo's the St. Patrice!!!”

“The best part of this hotel is its location. The staff is friendly and helpful but the rooms are tiny and no tea/coffee facilities. The parking is very challenging: just go to the parking by the bus stop and hope for the best. Breakfast is very good. Their restaurant with the great views is good but overpriced. The “ aile of raie” ( ray flapper) was OK but for 10 euros cheaper it was MUCH better in Chinon. No great view though…”
