"Slept poorly due to combination of a "smart" thermostat that was apparently determined to blow cold air as much as it could, and blankets that were inadequate to insulate us against the icy breeze. We ended up running the heater, even though autumn temps wouldn't need it, and the darned thermostat ran cold air whenever it wasn't heating. We were just passing through and would have sorted it out with the owners if we weren't pressed for time. Almost certainly, it would have been a fixable...

"Our group had a wonder stay at The Lodge. The house is large enough to accommodate large groups without feeling like you are tripping over each other. The beds were super comfortable and the house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host is super attentive and responsive to his guest.
