“We had the best time of our mini trip at this property. I loved every bit of the house, its history and the antique collection. Hospitality is very commendable and the breakfast so English and tasty. Lisa was very sweet and generous to suggest us the local places to visit. We would definitely be back next year. ”

“The Inn was on a lovely property near a river walk. An amazing ale house is also on the property. Very quaint and comfortable. Games, books and a front porch swing were provided. Our hosts were accommodating and friendly. The Breakfests were exceptional with delightful farm fresh eggs and produce. Overall it was a very relaxing and fun getaway. A side note that Sperryville is a weekend town there was not much to do during the week. ”

“This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property. “I enjoyed staying at Hollymead for a wedding weekend. I would definitely stay in the guest house again. The owners were very welcoming and the room was so comfortable.”

“We changed from two-person to family (+ two kids) in the last moment. They managed to provide reasonable arrangement. The location is excellent, very close to the main street with many good restaurants. Both the free breakfast and pre-dinner wine-and-cheese are better than what we expected from a local non-chain hotel.”
