Ski access from the property toward the West Wall and Peachtree lift areas. Lift access can be weather and snow dependent, and in low-snow years these lifts may open later than the resort's initial opening date (in the past West Wall Lift opens 7 to 10 days before Christmas, the shuttle is operating then to provide access to the Red Lady lift area). Once operating, skiing out is the easier route, while skiing back to the property is best suited for intermediate and advanced skiers. A free shuttle provides an easy alternative for beginners and anyone who prefers not to ski back.

Ski Access: What to Expect

We want you to know exactly what to expect while still letting you enjoy the advantage of being right on the mountain.

Skiing out from the property is the easier route, with green-trail options providing access toward the West Wall and Peachtree lift areas, which may open later than the resort's initial opening date. In the past, West Wall Lift opens 7 to 10 days before Christmas, the shuttle is operating then to provide access to the Red Lady lift area.

Skiing back to the property is best suited for intermediate and advanced skiers. The return route includes terrain that may not be comfortable for beginners, and the experience can vary with snow conditions.

If your group includes beginners or anyone who prefers an easier return, the free shuttle is an excellent alternative.

The resort's ski and lift operations are weather and snow dependent, particularly early in the season. We are happy to provide route information and maps so you can choose the option that works best for your group.

Free Shuttle

A free shuttle provides convenient transportation between the property, the resort's main base area, and Crested Butte. During the winter, the shuttle stops at our complex and connects with the resort's main base area. During warmer months, guests can utilize the free town transportation, which is a quarter mile to the shuttle stop, and provides another easy way to explore the area without moving your vehicle.

Summer Mountain Access

Hiking and mountain biking trails are accessible from the property, with additional trail networks and the downhill bike park at Mount Crested Butte a 2 minute bike away. Cyclists can take advantage of the private bike storage, shared storage, garage space, and bike wash.

The private deck is a great place to relax after a day on the trails, with western exposure and beautiful mountain views, especially at sunset.

Kitchen & Gathering Spaces

The kitchen is stocked for guests who actually want to cook, with an induction stove, stainless cookware, granite counters, spices, and a wide selection of cooking supplies.

Gather around the large dining table and counter seating for meals, or take dinner outside to the sunny private deck.

The main living room offers a large sectional, gas fireplace, and Smart TV. The upstairs loft provides a second place to watch TV, play games, work, or simply give everyone a little more space.
