Cute place but pool could have been bigger. Not too sure if sheets were clean, we had to wash them. They had a bad smell, but landlord did tell us about it beforehand and compensated us for it. We still had a good time!

Charming & Cute

This pet-friendly home offers a nice blend of indoor and outdoor living. The house is a comfortable respite from long days spent at the nearby beach. The backyard is inviting, with a nicely landscaped little pool area that's perfect for relaxation and unwinding after the day’s activities. The only drawback during our stay was that upon arrival the provided beach chairs were a sandy mess behind the tiki bar—merely a cleaning issue, but still disappointing that we needed to tidy the area to fully enjoy our stay.

The property was nice. I left a note when we left. The one blind needs replaced and the blue plastic glasses were not in the best shape. The bed was very comfortable. The outside was great for the dogs. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks so much Jan

Great Location Small Pool

House was exactly as I expected a n older beach bungalow! Property was very clean upon arrival and communication from the renting company was on point! The only issue for me was the pool area! I believe the outdoor area could be better maintained and the pool a bit bigger other than that the stay was as expected!

Family friendly

Great for the kids. The gated pool was nice so the little ones could still play in the backyard with out worrying so much. Walk to the beach wasn’t bad but do recommend bringing a wagon to help carry all the things. Beach was great!

Paradise

So very clean, well stocked a brief walk to the ocean! Little paradise! Beds were incredibly comfy. Did I mention how clean it was:) Toilet stopped working and they were there immediately to fix! Would stay here again and I am pretty particular!

Anniversary trip to the beach

This was our first time to the Destin area and we throughly enjoyed our vacation. The beach was a short walk away and was beautiful. The sand was powdery soft and white. The water was crystal clear and emerald green. The bungalow was cute and met our needs. We had an issue with one of the showers but they were responsive and had a repair guy come the next morning. We had our fur babies with us and they enjoyed the fenced backyard. Grocery stores are nearby and many nice restaurants to choose from. We would rent here again.

Granddaughters wedding

This property is close to beach, which we needed for beach wedding. We where able to walk my grandaughter, in her wedding dress, to the beach wedding location. The pool is small, but proved ideal for teaching swimming. Bathroom needs to be in between bedrooms, did not like people coming thru my bedroom to get to shared bathroom. Nice old beach cottage Thank you

Enjoyed our time but…….

Good points: Great location! Just a couple of blocks from beach…the house was enough to sleep 11 of us….served our needs well…. Bad points: the pictures does not reflect actual sizes of pool, yard, or kitchen. All 3 were smaller than the pictures…..the check in was awful! I called to let the property know our ETA. They couldn’t guarantee an early check in but would try..this would not have been an issue however after waiting at the property for 2 hours waiting for the code, they told us they were waiting on the maintenance man to do a walk through…he NEVER showed and we received the code at 4pm…..they should’ve just told us they do not honor early check ins. Lastly, the fold out couch in the back room with the bunk beds needs to be replaced. It sleeps AWFUL.

Very disappointing.

The listing for this property implied that this was a brand new property. But a description in the property says that it was built in 1962 and updated last year. The listing now says "2016 Updates." Overall, we found several things to not be in working order and the layout was extremely unusual (you have to go through the Master Bedroom to enter one of the second bedrooms or to access doors to the back yard/pool area). This layout would only work for certain families and should have been described in the listing. We have been going to Destin for more than 30 years and this property ranks as the most disappointing we've encountered. While the relatively easy access to the beach was positive (about a two block walk; not "steps to beach" as advertised), that is the only aspect that we could recommend. The property was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. But the property was not well maintained and we had to fix several things to make them functional. Overall, we did not feel the listing was accurate or reflective of the property as featured.

Unforgettable family getaway

Property has everything I needed to build memories. The communication with property manager was efficient and effective. The pool description needs to be revised as its picture listed makes it look like a normal size pool.

Family vacation

The landscaping was in poor condition. The tiki bar area was very dirty. The inside was pretty clean. Little hand prints and some dried food on walls around dining table. Bathrooms were neat and clean. The pictures of the pool were much better than the actual look of the pool. It was listed as a 3 bedroom but it didn't tell you that you had to go through the master bedroom or through a backdoor to get to the bunk room. The location was the best part. Only 2 blocks to the gorgeous beach!

Beach house review

The stay was great and it was in a beautiful area house was really nice, lots of shopping centers and beach is a 2 minute walk the one complaints I have is the back yard and pool where not as looked on pictured the pool is so tiny the kids couldn’t really enjoy it but overall a fun house and very beautiful! Thank y’all

It great little spot

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! House was clean and more spacious than we thought..kitchen was fully stacked with all your needs. Bed was comfortable- we didn’t need the other rooms but it was nice to spread out…. Great location !

Loved our time near the beach!

We booked our stay after reading all of the reviews, looking at other properties and knowing we wanted somewhere that would be dog friendly. Check in process was easy! We arrived and it was clean and just as the photos and listing described. It was less than 3 blocks from the beach, we could easily get around and be close to everything. Only things I wish we would have done- asked about the automatic lock to ensure we were working it properly or asked for more information on the pool heater! We came at a time where the weather took a deep dive and the heater may have made it a little better! Other than that- we loved our stay and would stay again!
