"We had such a great time at the cabin! Great spot and lake access for paddle boarding and canoeing. Lake access had Lilly pads so you had to go out about 15feet to swim in clear water but that was perfect for us! Only 20-30 minutes from Park Rapids for a night out. Would definitely go back again! "I booked it last minute and I am so glad this place was available because it was perfect! Everyone was so friendly, like we had been friends for years. After walking out of our room we were steps away from the sandy private beach or you could venture over to the public beach for more space. They had everything you needed in case you forgot something, like kayaks, canoes, life jackets, and paddle boats. Even and ice cream shop for those hot days! Me and my two kids loved it and will definitely come back!! "

"We enjoyed a long weekend at Sandt Pines. It was a memorable experience! This quaint & cozy lake cabin is the definition of charming. The cabin's layout & decor creates a cozy, inviting, & comfortable atmosphere.The view of the lake from anywhere inside or outside the cabin was stunning. Much time was spent on the deck, dock, and sand chairs enjoying the peace and quiet. We heard loons, saw ducks bathing on the beach next door, and deer on the island. The kids (older teens) enjoyed fishing off the dock, pontoon fishing, swimming, the lillypad, and of course the wi-fi! The cabin has a well-equipped for all of our needs. The kitchen was had everything we needed to prepare meals and a numerous comfy living areas for relaxing. Our favorites were the screened porch, deck, hammock, and of course anywhere inside the cabin. The firepit, beautiful patio table and chairs, and screened porch all add to the cabin's charm.The location is ideal. It's close to Park Rapids, Nevis, and Dorset. We took one day and went exploring-so many places to see and things to do! Lots to explore!The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Their hospitality was truly appreciated & exceptional.For a peaceful, charming, and authentic Northern Minnesota getaway, look no further! Sandy Pines is highly recommended."

"Wonderful getaway property. The cabin was rustic, cozy and beautifully decorated. It was furnished with a complete assortment of cooking utensils along with extras like great shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The environment was relaxing and peaceful. The view of the lake from the deck was marvelous.Early check in was much appreciated as it allowed us to travel earlier in the day to beat the brutal heat that day. A problem with the water heater was identified to our property manager and fixed the same evening. We loved listening to the loons. Just the kind of place we were looking for. "
