“Buzzard's Cabin was the perfect space for a weekend getaway. It was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed drinking our coffee while sitting in the hot tub watching deer cross the path. We would return!”

“My girlfriend and I simply loved staying here. It's the kind of place you wish that you lived in full-time. Being able to use a hot tub any time of the day is a true luxury!The sheer privacy and beauty of the natural surroundings is unmatched. The cabin is actually a very nicely rennovated mobile home with all of the conveniences this entails: laundry room, full kitchen, extremely cozy living room, a master bedroom and a small second bedroom with twin bed. “We had a wonderful time at the Outpost. It was perfectly located to Ohiopyle, Youghiogheny River Lake, and Laurel Caverns. We spent many evenings at the beautiful cabin just enjoying the many deer and turkey that roamed around. The highlight for us was the daily visits from Bart and Sofi -the neighbors labradors who where a wonderful welcome committee. We highly recommend The Outpost!”

“We had a wonderful weekend at this cozy cabin! The house is just a short walk to the lake, which was perfect for fishing, swimming, and relaxing. We brought our own fishing rods and bait, and were glad we did—it’s a great spot for it. The lake has a rocky bottom, so water shoes came in handy for swimming!The cabin feels cozy and gives everyone space to unwind. There was even a sweet little reading nook for quiet moments. “This was a beautiful cabin; very clean, more spacious than I expected, and fully equipped with everything one could need. Having stayed at many such rentals over the years, I would rate this home as among the most comfortable and well organized I have found.Lots to do nearby, but a great place to come back to after a busy day, for grilling and a campfire in the big back yard.Communication with the owners was excellent. Would definitely stay again if travel takes me to this area.”

“The location of this cabin is perfect if you’re interested in biking, rafting, Frank Lloyd Wright locations or the Timber Creek Amphitheater. The views are beautiful from the porch. We last came in Winter, with it being Spring/Summer I wish I’d thought to bring citronella candles and/ or bug spray for the porch but otherwise it was fine. The cabins are clean and have all that you need, the water pressure in the shower though may need to be checked, we had a super short stay so it wasn’t a big……

“My family went for a long weekend at the end of March and had a wonderful stay! Appreciated all the games for my kids and the pool table was a hit. House was very clean and we enjoyed the hot tub. Appreciated the baby gate at the top of the stairs! Great spot for checking out Fort Necessity, which is right down the road. Loved the open backyard and view. ”
