“This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel in the last nine months, and it is excellent. The staff, rooms and especially the food they serve is excellent. Make sure you are hungry as the portions are large. I would recommend Mullions 51 to anytime, to stay or have a meal. I hope to stay there again in October.”

“My husband and I spent ten days there in September 2015. The house-owner, Helen is very nice. Every day she kindly recommended some landmarks for us to visit. And she was willing to assist us. For those who are wishing to stay as a home-liked place, this hotel will be a good choice. The room was clean, there was someone responsible for cleaning your room every single day. "Hotel is quite new in comparison with other International brand hotels in that area. Comfortable bed, room nice and clean. Within walking distance to CBD and tourist area.
However, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night around 1:30am and we learned the next day that it’s a fire drill. That’s totally ridiculous to me. I’ve travelled around the world in the past 50 yrs and never came across any hotel like this. The fire alarm woke all hotel guests without prior notice nor explanation on site. Guests including myself needed to run around to check out what’s happening. Hope they never ever do this again. We’re extremely tired after a whole day’s travelling and desperately needed a good night’s sleep.
