“This is the second time we stayed at this home. You can't beat the location for all the space. It's spacious, very clean, and bug-free, which is a priority for us. It has a nice fenced-in back yard for the kids to run, and entertain. The host is always there for you. We have family in the area, so this has become our go-to place when visiting. Location, location, location!! The best. And super clean. We'll book here again. ”

“This was not the "Hideaway" advertised. The host's teenage son had a bday party complete with airguns and plenty of teens screaming and running around the property. It was loud and triggering and NOT AT ALL the peaceful experience that was advertised. The noise stopped at 10 pm - apparently the start of 'Quiet Hours.' The 'Quiet Hours' were not advertised on the listing, because I would not have stayed at a rental that could possibly be loud until 10pm. Also, it is stated in the rules 'No……

“We have stayed in Sara’s Shacks before so we weren’t concerned. Unfortunately we should have been concerned. We arrived after dark. Once I got into the house to turn the outside lights on, we found that the front porch light was burnt out and the back porch lighting was very poor. I messaged Sara about the front porch light and she messaged back immediately “I’ll send someone over to change the front porch light, sorry about that.”The next night we came back and no light. “The entire process from booking, on going communication and checkout was flawless. The house was exceptionally clean upon arrival. It was tastefully decorated and very well stocked, as well. Really enjoyed the fenced yard for our young Labrador. We highly recommend, especially for smaller groups. ”
