The complimentary wine/tea and snacks were such a nice treat before dinner out. The Ferndale Playhouse Theater and dinner were all in walking distance. The breakfast the next morning was perfectly delicious
What a charming place. Loved the wine and cheese in the afternoon. Breakfast was homemade, original one of the best we have ever had. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the charm and all the little details, tea, china, furnishings. They recommended a Mexican restaurant for dinner with the best fish tacos ever. Will definitely come again!
I had a wonderful stay at the Gingerbread Mansion. The room was clean and the bed was comfy.

Great breakfast, enjoyed the evening wine in front of the fire, historic, beautiful property. Didn’t enjoy the many, many notes threatening repercussions if you moved the furniture in any way. We get it!
The gingerbread mansion is a gem! We adored our one night stay and look forward to coming back. Clean, beautiful, delicious breakfast, tea time…just perfect, all of it!
We’ve stayed at a competing B&B nearby and the Gingerbread Mansion was far superior. Every detail is meticulously maintained. The staff is helpful and friendly. The daily wine and snacks as well as breakfast are delicious. We will make sure to stay at this property every time we are in the area.
The town is charming. The house is great example of Queen Anne Victorian with an amazing story.
The Inn Keeper was friendly, took time out to make us feel welcome and the meal she cooked for us was flawless!
We plan to return.

Victorian stay
The Inn was beautiful, the staff exceptional, breakfast amazing, the wine and tea time in the afternoon perfect. It did not disappoint. Ferndale is a sweet Victorian town.
Our stay here was a delight. The attention to detail given to the property is remarkable and made for a magical stay here. The customer service, cocktail hour and breakfast were equally impressive. Our evening walk through Ferndale was enchanting. This place makes the endorphins flow!!!

We always stay here when we come to Ferndale for concerts at The Olde Steeple. It’s only a block away from the concert hall and off the beaten path. Staff is extremely cordial and spends time conversing with guests. Tea time from 4-6 pm with extremely sufficient which includes wines and or champagne with th delicacies. It’s just a delightful place to stay and has become a tradition for us.
We loved our time at the Gingerbread mansion. Oliva was an amazing host. Breakfast prepared each day was some of the best we have had. Snacks provided at tea time each day were also a big perk. The mansion was such a cozy experience. We loved our time spent at the mansion as well as exploring the town of Ferndale. Hiking and exploring the town made our time there very memorable. I fear future B&Bs may be ruined for me as this was my first time experiencing a true B&B experience and any future ones will have a lot to live up to! Highly recommend and thanks again to Olivia!

We had an absolutely wonderful time ; we came to enjoy the town wide yard sale and didn’t want to leave ! The owners were warm and friendly , offered complimentary wine and tea and scones and treats upon arrival, got a tour of the beautiful inn , so you feel so comfortable, delicious breakfast made to your specifications ; all around wonderful time , can hardly wait to go back!!!! GO!!!!!!
Although a very cute home, the property does need some attention on both the building and garden. The food in both afternoon happy hour and breakfast Seems like more staff is needed to provide more timely service.
Garden area could use some work and would be very pretty. front porch cupola lots of dead bugs and cobwebs. Other than that overall a wonderful place to stay.

The rooms are very luxurious and big bathrooms and comfortable beds. Unfortunately my bed was making too much noise. Everything else was super awesome
This house is just the cutest thing ever. Only my second B&B I've stayed in but I really enjoyed it. I did feel like we had to be so quiet or else I would wake the spirits in it. Was fun to explore the rooms that weren't booked, especially the Grand Room upstairs. Wow!! The water was hot and plentiful, the ambiance was peaceful, the breakfast was Delicious and not too much which I appreciate. Wish I lived closer because I would stay here just for the fun of it!!
