“We enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed dinner at the yearling restaurant. Our rooms were ready, clean and comfortable. They were exactly as pictured. The best air conditioning ever! ”

If you’re looking for shopping and spas, etc. The property is about a half hour from town, so this is might not be the place for you. It’s exactly what we were looking for though.”

“We stayed for an extended weekend during my son’s recent graduation. The property was perfect- lots of space, peaceful mornings, birds and waterfowl. It wasn’t a short drive to Gainesville commencement activities but it was a very easy drive so that was not a problem. We rented the pontoon boat and enjoyed time on the lake. I don’t think the photos did the place justice. The place had character and charm. Jackie was easy to communicate with and responded quickly when we had a last minute change-……

“The road leading to the house is very bumpy, but don’t let that fool you. The house is very nice. As soon as we walked in, I felt completely at home. Much better than a hotel/motel. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. Very peaceful. There is a Dollar General close by, in case you need any supplies. We went to the Hawthorne Cafe for breakfast. Very nice people and good food. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at this location. I highly recommend it.”

“Property was nice and the pool was nice. It was very clean. It just didn’t have TVs or decoration or porch chairs. It was a just an apartment with two beds essentially. Also, didn’t have enough bathing towels. ”
