“We come out to the island to enjoy short, stays every summer and it tends to be a whirlwind of a long weekend. Island Inn is the perfect spot to stay for our family. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, the property is well maintained and everyone has always been very friendly and welcoming. We bring our dogs with us (Labs) and having a large outside space that allows us to exercise them without bugging anyone who may not be dog people is priceless! I can throw the ball and walk them...

“This was a great property for families with many other guests w/children, big open area for kids to play in the back and comfortable sleeping arrangements & sufficient space for 2 adults w/4 kids. Only annoyance was our room was not ready by 3 pm check in but rather was ready after 3:30 after being told “5 more minutes” several times. For a place with a 10 am check out I’d assume 3 pm check in wouldn’t be delayed. Everything else was great though.”

“Pros: The house was clean, easy to find, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was modern and up to date. Shower was very nice. Free street parking. Cons: very little kitchen amenities, no kleenex, and very loud thumping / noises upstairs from 11:00 - midnight the night we stayed there, which was a Saturday night.”

“What a fantastic place to unwind, relax and enjoy ourselves while visiting MV! The condo is well appointed and has a great flow in terms of layout. Love that the 2nd bedroom is away from primary. You cannot beat the location-right across from beach. Very peaceful complex .A short walk to Circuit Avenue too! Barbara is such a gracious host and of course, thinks of everything that you might need while staying there. Thank you! We cannot wait to return!”

“Very clean inside, convenient location. Only issues were A/C unit didn’t reach back bedroom. Horrible water pressure and backed up bathtub. Paper thin walls.”
