  • Enter a real Florentine experience with our 100 sqm apartment on the first floor. The Medieval Palace is located next to the Basilica of Santa Croce. Immerse yourself in the comforts (air conditioning in all rooms and WiFi) while exploring the spacious double living room, the equipped kitchen, the double bedroom, and the single bedroom, two bathrooms and the indoor terrace. With bus and taxi stops 50 meters away, it is strategically located and a number of typical restaurants and bars under the house.
    The space
    Quiet apartment with lots of natural light, 6-meter ceilings, large living room with dining area, wifi and smart TV, kitchen with central island, intimate double bedroom and single room. The large living room houses the dining area and the living area. The fourth bed is in the living room sofa bed. Nice little indoor terrace has a conversation corner and laundry area.

    The apartment is at guests' complete disposal. You can access every part of the apartment.
    Other things to note
    Tuscan or Italian cooking classes can be booked upon request. Chef at home and extra cleaning can be booked upon request

Excellent stay at Antonio’s property. The location is second to none with the beautiful Santa Croce church right outside and easy walking distance to all key sites. The AC was second to none too as we arrived in the midst of a heat wave. Grocery close by and lots of restaurants also with the apartment well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful place

We were very happy with this accommodation. It is spacious, bright, good kitchen, comfortable beds and pillows, quiet, lots of hot water and pressure in the shower. The location is excellent right beside Saint Croce Church, lots of restaurants within blocks, a coffee shop next door. The property manager was very responsive. We would stay here again.

Our trip was wonderful. The apartment exceeded our expectations in every way! It was spotless, and stocked with everything we needed including some very interesting books. We especially loved the location. Everything that Florence has to offer was in walking distance. Right outside the building is a wonderful cafe and restaurant. Communication with Antonio the owner was excellent and made the entire process so easy. We'll definitely return.

Our stay at Antonio’s place was great. The location was superb, and the apartment was exactly as it was listed. Furthermore, António was very responsive to any questions that we had, and he had prepared the place with extra towels and everything my family needed. Lovely apartment and excellent location

We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed this apartment, located right on the Santa Croce piazza. Apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We stayed with our young adult daughter and appreciated the space, location and washer. Apartment is up one set of stairs. Host Antonio was very helpful, highly recommended for your trip to Florence.

Santa Croce - on the square

Spacious apartment on the Santa Croce square. Apartment faces the inner courtyard so it is quiet. Clean and well appointed. Has lots of Italian character. We met the owner and he was very friendly. We used the washer/dryer without any problems. Was great to have that option during our vacation.

Gem in Piazza Santa Croce

My husband, daughter and I spent a week at Antonio's apartment! The listing is very accurate...it is clean, spacious and in a great location. You walk out right onto the the Piazza Santa Croce, and conveniently next to a cafe. There are plenty of restaurants at every turn of the streets. Although, we didn't do much cooking...the kitchen appeared well equipped if you desired to cook. Antonio was very quick to respond any questions. Our stay was fun, relaxing and smooth. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice place, very convenient to everything. But, there was no hot water on arrival. This was fixed as soon as possible, but not a good way to begin a trip after long flights. Then there was also construction that went on all during the day- banging, drilling, etc. right behind the main living area bedroom, kitchen and living room. I had to work during part of the stay so this was a very big issue for me. I reported but no change in the construction the last 3 days and no response on any resolution.

Outstanding Florence apartment

Stay with our family of 2 teens for 4 days in Florence- Antonio was easy to communicate with, check in a breeze. Apartment was extremely clean and felt very spacious with the vaulted ceilings; our daughter slept in small private twin room which was perfect and son on couch which was made into a bed on our arrival. Kitchen spacious with everything needed- used laundry facilities with help of guidebook in apartment. European appliances have washer/dryer settings on same appliance & that was a little tricky. Location right on square in front of Santa Croce was perfect! Definitely would stay here again!

Beautiful, clean, modern, well-furnished apartment

We loved our visit at this very special home. The owners are lovely, attentive and helpful, offering suggestions on the area. Location is convenient without being in the noisy parts of the city. Plenty of hot water with 2 showers. A/C in each room. Washer/dryer and dishwasher work very well. Restaurant downstairs, but not open terribly late, so very quiet at bedtime. The swallows can be seen performing their acrobatics over the inner courtyard in the morning.

Our Home in Florence

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at Antonio’s apartment. It was spacious, very clean, and it had all the amenities we needed. And the shower was wonderful! The location in Piazza Santa Croce was perfect. Many cafes and restaurants nearby. We could walk to most places. Antonio was an excellent host. He was very responsive to our questions and concerns. He recommended a lovely restaurant. He helped to arrange the return of an item that I had left in a taxi when we arrived. I would happily recommend this host and this apartment to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Florence!! Michael Freeman

The apartment was fantastic—beautiful, bright, and filled with natural light. It featured an impressive six air-conditioning units, which kept every room comfortably cool during our stay. The architecture was charming, with unique window treatments, modern furnishings, and beautiful handcrafted wood ceilings. As is common in Florence and Rome, there is no elevator, but being on the first floor (one level above the lobby) made access easy and convenient. The staff was attentive, responsive, and quick to assist with any needs we had. I would highly recommend this property to other travelers. We stayed as a family of four (two adults and two children) and found the location ideal. Situated next to Piazza di Santa Croce, it is centrally located, with major attractions, restaurants, and shops all within easy walking distance.
