PATOKA HILLS - Great cabin in perfect location for fisherman and families!

Fisherman will enjoy the close proximity of 3 boat ramps on Patoka Lake with plenty of space to park your boat onsite. Families will enjoy the close proximity to the French Lick area (which includes bowling / mini golf / bike trails / go karts / indoor water park), French Lick Scenic Railway, Patoka Lake State Park (fishing / swimming / hiking), Marengo Caves, Paoli Peaks (skiing and tubing), Holiday World and Splashin' Safari, Wineries, Golf Courses and so much more.

The cabin has one large bedroom with a king size bed, a newly added second bedroom with a queen size bed and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. There is also a cot and pack and play available if needed.
The kitchen is fully furnished, including a Keurig and Crock Pot.
The bathroom includes towels and washcloths.
There is a washer and dryer available for use.
WIFI is included.
There is a wrap around porch with outdoor seating to enjoy the sites and sounds of nature and a concrete firepit area to enjoy some s’mores and stars!
No Pets or Smoking.
There is a security camera on the corner of the garage pointing at sidewalk to the cabin that is only used when there are no guests. This is the only security camera on the property.

To start, I had to reach out to the host for check-in details as I didn’t receive them up to 24 hours before. Once there, I was surprised to find the cabin was so close to the host. This wasn’t a bad thing, but it would have been nice to know. The first night was spent listening to a child yell loudly outside. My partner and I had traveled almost two hours after working all day, and we couldn’t get a quiet moment until late. The property is supposed to have a deck on the back. To my surprise, the door was blocked off and the deck was under construction. This also would have been nice to know. Part of the deck was accessible if you walked around the back of the property though. I was looking forward to sitting outside and enjoying the fall weather, but I didn’t feel comfortable only being able to stare at the host’s house while they were also outside looking at the cabin. Overall, the cabin was nice and clean. The bed was so comfy but a tad big for the room as I had to crawl across the bed to get actually get in. I couldn’t fit between the bed and the wall as there was less than 10 inches of space, and I’m a little thicker.

Cozy, clean and totally delightful cabin to stay in. Well stocked. Everything you could possibly need. King size bed was very, very comfortable. Peaceful surroundings but close to the beautiful Patoka lake and a short drive to French Lick. Can't wait to come back.

A wonderful getaway
Highly recommend this cabin. Very clean, many extras, wife & I had a wonderful stay. The walk in shower is roomier than it looks in the photos. We even washed and dried our clothes in the washer dryer and took clean clothes home. Centrally located to several things to see. We visited Paoli, English, West Baden, French Lick, Jasper, Ferdinand & Santa Clause Indiana.

I stayed here with a couple of friends, the place was so nice and cozy. Everything we needed was already there. Also the place was in the perfect spot for driving to Patoka lake and other places around. There was a storm that went through during our stay and we lost power, but property managers were very helpful to look up info for us.

We had a wonderful experience with the property. Trips out to French Lick / West Baden area were easy and quick, and the cabin was cozy. The property manager was attentive and even checked on us after a serious storm rolled through the area, to ensure our safety. Definitely will return.

Great, cozy place to stay near French Lick, IN
A lovely little cabin in the woods with all the conveniences of home, and a little extra!. Super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Linen was soft, not cheap. The games provided were a plus we enjoyed. A nice distance from French Lick, 15 min. 30 min from Jasper and Marengo. 45 min from Huntsberg...all the places we visited

Perfect little cabin at Patoka Lake
We arrived to a very clean and tidy cabin on Thursday evening. What a beautiful place it was! The owners have furnished the cabin with a very nice king bed and pull out queen sofa and 2 comfy sitting chairs as well as a 4 top dining table and chairs. Outside, there is both a front porch and a back deck that are wonderful to sit at and drink morning coffee and evening beverages. There are TONS of activities to check out within 30-40 minutes! Patoka lake (countless opportunities to have fun), French Lick Casino, go carts and putt-putt, Beautiful West Baden hotel, Wilstem Ranch, Hemlock Cliffs, Spring Mill State Park.....the list goes on and on. Definitely a great place to stay for all of these and plenty more!
