Another Wonderful Stay! My daughter, mother, and I had an amazing stay at Gold Canyon Golf Resort & Spa! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the pool was the perfect place to cool off from the Arizona heat, especially in the early mornings and evenings. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the entire community was beautifully maintained. This was not my first stay here, and what really stands out is how consistently terrific my experiences have been every time I visit. It’s a beautiful, relaxing place to stay, and we always look forward to coming back. We highly recommend Gold Canyon Golf Resort & Spa and will definitely be returning again!

The day of our stay we received a text stating that the rental we had booked was not available due to HVAC issues. They offered us a downgraded room which we accepted and were waiting for confirmation of the details for our amended stay. Mind you, this booking was for a 7 person family. We accepted a 2 bedroom with 2 queen, 1 king (2 full beds pushed together to make a “king”, left no room for cuddling, center of the bed dipped and separated, very uncomfortable), and a pull out couch. Half way through our 2 hr drive there we got another call from hotels.com who stated the rooms were not available and they were going to get us booked at another location. I asked about the other rooms that were offered by Home & House Vacations & they then confirmed we were set with a downgraded room & offered $100 hotels.com credit, that someone from HHV would contact us with entry codes 1 hr prior to check in. We called HHV 45 mins before check in, after driving 2 hour to PHX & was told the rooms weren’t available and that hotels.com was relocating us. Frustrated w/ HHV we called hotels.com and we’re finally able to get things corrected. A lot of avoidable stress could have been rectified with better communication between the two services. We were worried bout where our 7 person family would stay after traveling 2 hours, being told one thing then another multiple times. Overall, unneeded stress but a nice stay once we did arrive.

The room was newly renovated and I love what they did to it! Double yes on the wooden floors. The design is minimal and clean and gives an airy feel. I didnt need staff too much but check in staff were very courteous.
