NOT A FAMIlY HOTEL .... Eastwood hall is an events facility with a hotel attached. The romes are nice, but there is no air conditioning and we had mould on the window and the food at breakfast and dinner was mediocre. Staff were were lovely. The clincher was that in the summer holidays children are not allowed to use the pool in the morning or in the evening. As we were visiting family for the weekend, that meant the kids (and consequently non of us) were not able to use the pool at all. When I asked about this, it was explained that this is the only time someone was available to supervise the pool area. This is not the case in any other hotel we have stayed in. Surly children could swim at other times but would have to remain the sole responsibility of parents who have to be with them at all times as per the club rules. This was very disappointing for them, and they would not choose to say here again.

The flat was a good size the reason for the poor review was there was no hot water. It was late 11pm but I had just travelled from London so was late to the property.

Not often these days that I'm pleasantly surprised by a hotel but I certainly was this time! The spec of room and quality of food made the price of the room with breakfast very good! Staff were lovely and a great selection of beers on tap, not that I tried any on this occasion, typical as usually when I do fancy a beer it's the same old rubbish. Outstanding, can't wait for an excuse to stay here again.
