Albatross Nest epitomizes Caribbean style living with truly breath taking 180-degree views from the property's open and elevated terraces. Enjoy magical sunset drinks with views of the island of Martinique in one direction and Pigeon Island National Park and Rodney Bay in the other.

Albatross Nest is our dream home - perfect views, distinctive open plan architecture, traditional Caribbean shingled buildings and beautiful tropical garden. Enjoy classic barefoot charm and listen to the sounds of nature and the sea below.

The property is secluded and provides perfect privacy - it is only ever rented to a single party/group. Its layout means that it is equally suited to 2 guests as much as it is for larger groups of up to 8 guests.

The villa was designed by architect, Robertson Ward, who designed the original Sandy Lane hotel in Barbados. Three buildings are linked by covered walkways around the large, private, central pool. The design is perfect for a tropical, outdoor lifestyle and the pool is spanned by an attractive bridge which creates a romantic environment.

Albatross Nest is located in the North West corner of the Cap Estate which is generally regarded as the premier residential area of St. Lucia.

The property is a very short drive to Pigeon Island beach, Anse Du Cap beach and Cas en Bas beach. The 18 hole golf course at the St. Lucia Golf and Country Club, snorkeling, scuba diving, kitesurfing, horse riding on the beach, tennis club and an award winning spa, as well as many of the island's best restaurants are all within a ten minute drive.

Maid service is provided 5 days a week. The gardener is at the property 2 days a week. The property has a security system. The pool is unfenced and deep so the property is not suitable for guests under the age of ten.

The property is managed by Kris Wagner who will welcome you to the property and advise on any aspects of your vacation. Kris and her team are on call 7 days a week to ensure that you have a wonderful holiday in St. Lucia.

A pre-stocking service is available so that when you arrive at the villa you do not immediately have to go shopping - you can immediately relax, unwind and enjoy the view.

Fabulous Relaxing Villa
Thank you to Kris, Ivy and Diane of Albatross Villa! My husband, son and I had a wonderful holiday. Between the beautiful views, terrific pool and wonderfully accessible location, it met and exceed all of our expectations. Beautiful property, full outdoor living except bedrooms. Sunsets are amazing, beautiful pool, house keeping and grounds staff, our driver Donald, all absolutely amazing. Went on two 1.2 day boat trips out of Rodney Bay, Dinner out at Naked Fisherman and Cliffs, amazing. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glassware and utensils, two refrigerators and a bar fridge, check in - a LOT of information given about safety, keys, alarm, what is to be locked up, etc. Its a lot of information all at one time. This is a remote home and not walkable to restaurants and shops. A driver or car is needed.

Magical!
We had an amazing week at Villa Albatross. Everything about the house, Kris and Ivy were A+. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the living area with the incredible views in all directions was spectacular. Kris was so attentive and responsive. We had some minor issues with a couple of appliances but nothing that interferred with our week. We hired Eike (chef) to come cook for us a couple of nights and he was wonderful. Would recommend this especially on the first night as it's a long travel day to get there. Ivy made our week the most special. She came daily and tidied up and was so gracious and kind. We fell in love with her. We ate at several restaurants that we close by to the villa (Naked Fisherman, Jaques Waterfront Dining, Cafe Ole - lunch, Spinnakers - lunch & Sakarugi). We would love to go back and highly recommend this villa. Thank you Kris!

The best thing about this property is its location. Overlooking the sea with stunning views of the Pigeon Island and the harbour, it’s spacious, clean and beautifully kept with lots of outside space to enjoy the views. The staff are friendly and very helpful and security is given the highest priority.

Panoramic Perfection!
Gorgeous water views in three directions, with plenty of places to sit in the shade or sun. Every bedroom is air conditioned and all the beds were very comfortable. Ivy, the housekeeper was very thorough and always looked for ways to keep us relaxed and pampered. Our property manager Kris was always available and responsive. The property is close to Rodney Bay so there’s plenty to do close by, but the property is very private and secluded. Best of all worlds!

Best view ever, lovely people!
We’ve been fortunate enough to travel to some beautiful islands in the Caribbean and Ionic Sea. The people here in St. Lucia are so friendly; the island, green and gorgeous; and the views at Albatross Nest, particularly magnificent. The villa is beautifully and comfortably laid out, with a fully equipped kitchen where we often cooked dinner together to enjoy the sunset. Plus Ivy and Thomas bring their own sunshine when they come to tidy up and groom the landscaping. And Kris is an attentive, efficient and good-humored host. We did rainforest tour (it was great!), Tet Paul Nature Trail (vistas are stunning) and my husband and I climbed Gros Piton (we’re in our mid-60’s). We slid a lot in the rain/mud on the way down -yikes! Took 6 hours in all, but we did it! Two bits of advice: one, book this villa if it is available. Two, let Kris arrange transportation to Villa for you on arrival, get you some basic groceries, and connect you with car rental agency to have cars delivered after you arrive. The roads/driving here are crazy, and you will likely lose WiFi in hilltops when trying to navigate (villa is at opposite end of island from airport). If you drive, you will get lost and frustrated and arrive (after dark?) short-tempered and stressed. NOT the thing to save money on. In any case, the experience at Albatross Nest was a 10 out of 10!

Classic Caribbean Villa, perfect for families
Albatross Nest was all we hoped for plus a load more - the photos really do it justice and, I promise you, the views across to Rodney Bay are that good 😁 Arriving at the villa in our hire car directly from the airport after darkness and up the very steep drive, is certainly not to be recommended but other than that we really couldn't fault it - fabulous layout of four rooms around a pool and then a huge living area totally open to the surrounds. Our family group with young all in their 20's just loved the space to relax in, whether in the pool, on the loungers or remote working from the dining table. Kris, the property manager, was in easy contact and soon got us organised...Ivy, the maid who comes in five mornings a week, was delightful and was a mine of information. We honestly left the property with heavy hearts and know where to stay next time we're in the Caribbean 🏝️

Fantastic villa!
We had a wonderful stay at Albatross Nest! Kris was really helpful and knowledgeable, and it was lovely to have Ivy come by each weekday to freshen up the villa. The views were unbeatable and it was such a peaceful location. Took taxis (Donald was brilliant) into town when needed and walked down to The Naked Fisherman one evening. The setting was perfect, the staff were friendly and the food and drinks were amazing. Couldn’t recommend this villa enough!

St. Lucia Getaway Vacation
The view from this property is amazing from the moment you walk thru the front door. The pool is really nice also. Property is located in a quiet part of the island and close to the Rodney Bay Marina, where there are some pretty good restaurants, and close to where the Friday night street party takes place. All just a short drive away. We enjoyed the open air living room too, very unique. We had Odessa cook us a great meal and it was well worth it! Would stay here again!

We loved our stay in St Lucia. The house has the best views of anywhere we have ever stayed. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with lots of information. Donald the driver got us everywhere we needed to be all week and Ivy the housekeeper took such good care of us. Kris was wonderful with communication and making sure we had everything we needed. Odessa the chef made us our best meal we had on the island. The Albatross Nest is a MUST!

An Anniversary to remember.
Stayed at the Albatross Nest this past July to celebrate our 25th anniversary with 3 other couples. The house was amazing, especially the pool (and sunsets). A/C in each bedroom was very comfortable sleeping. Plenty of towels for the beach/pool as well as showers/bath. There are multiple refrigerators making it easy to stock food and drinks for the week. Donald (driver) picked us up at the airport and we utilized him throughout thew week. He was readily available for any ride, as was Glenda (his wife) or Wilfred (his Dad). We met the whole family! Ivy (housekeeper) was wonderful. Odessa (chef) prepared a dinner one evening - which was absolutely amazing. She planned the food, shopping, set the table, and handled all clean-up. Well worth the experience. Kris is a great host and helped us with every arrangement we needed. From having flowers in the room for my wife, to handling pre-stocking food for our arrival, and arranging all airport transfers. The house has a variety of spices, salt, pepper - so no need to get those. There was a 5 gallon water cooler available, which was a pleasant surprise. There were several pool floats available for use as well. Bring a bluetooth speaker if you want music close to the pool. The beach down the hill is at an all inclusive resort - Body Holiday. Get a day pass (11a-6p) for $115ea. Well worth it. WhatsApp is the best way to make calls/text. Hoping we can come back soon!

Breathtaking
Our week at the Villa Albatross Nest was spectacular--which hardly describes it well. In no way do photos capture the magic of the villa. When we first arrived, the scenery took our breath away-- plain and simple. The view is at least 270 degrees, with Martinique to the north and Rodney Bay just to the south. You gaze through multiple layers of mountain peaks and bays as you look out. Finches and hummingbirds dance through the flamboyant tree just off the dining area. We were all very comfortable in our rooms. So nice to have shared living spaces open to the outdoors and private areas as well. We cannot thank Kris enough for her advice and suggestions about activities, where to eat and what to do. We cancelled an outing last minute and she set all right. We are very grateful to her. It was wonderful meeting and talking at length with Ivy and Thomas throughout the week as well. We learned more about the island. And, Donald was an absolutely wonderful guide and driver. He truly took care of us all week, and we appreciate his compassion far more than I can say. I have no words for how grateful we are to him. If looking for somewhere to stay on this magical island, look no further.

Villa with an amazing view
We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay, views are absolutely stunning with a nice pool. Great location, just 10 mins to Rodney Bay. Kris took care of everything we needed. The housekeeper Ivy was very helpful too. We had no trouble getting around as the villa driver was always available to drive us to anywhere we wanted and back to the villa. Overall a very nice experience!!

Family Memories
Everything about this property was wonderful! We took advantage of every aspect of Albatros Nest. The view was gorgeous, whether it was sunny or overcast. You felt you were on the top of the world. So relaxing! The outside lifestyle really connected you with the natural surroundings. Ivy was wonderful and so sweet. Donald got us to the places we didn’t think we could drive ourselves to, first time driving on the left hand side of the road lol. He was great! We will definitely be back!

The property is gorgeous, the pictures don't do it justice. Kris and Ivy were wonderful. We got a personal driver for our rides around town for a grocery pickup, out to eat or to the beach. Donald and his wife were great drivers! We had a very relaxing vacation and would recommend this house to book. The only note is that during the rainy season (which it is now), pack long pants and long sleeve shirts to wear at night. The bugs come out and bite at night. We used bug spray but it didn't help much.

St. Lucia Cap Estate. Beautiful views and wonderful property
This is an amazing property with some of the best views you'll find. This villa is nicely laid out. Each room is unique and very comfortable. Everything worked and no issues at all. Breakfast table overlooks ocean and plenty of seating on the deck to enjoy the view. Plenty of birds and nature as well. Small telescope on the deck for looking at boats and pigeon island. Communication for all staff is great. Absolutely love Ivy and Thomas the housekeeper and landscaper. Make sure you get a rental car or plan for taxis. This is not a walkable property to beaches, stores, or really anything of necessity. Have Kris or Diane set it up for you and have the car at the house when you arrive.

Fantastic! Views were absolutely incredible! Pool was amazing! Plenty of outdoor space with beautiful landscaping. Lots of little birds kept us entertained. Close to a few small towns with shopping and plenty of dining options. Close to Pigeon Point and some golf if that's what you are looking for. Also close to large marina with boating tours. We had a car and would definitely recommend for getting around the north end of the island. Took a private boat tour down to the Pitons for some great snorkeling, beach time and lunch. Really cool. The boat was the way to go since driving can be very slow with the mountains and heavy local traffic. Overall, the location was perfect for us. There just seemed like a lot more going on in the northern part of the island. Staff was lovely! Ivy the house keeper was great!

Paradise on the Mountain:Amazing views and secluded outdoor living.
This home was amazing. Exactly as pictured. Open outdoor living with plenty of space to enjoy your traveling companions or sneak away to some quiet space for yoga on the lawn. And the view 😲. 180° of ocean and cliffs. Mesmerizing. Kris, our host, waited patiently for us to arrive, as we were a little late. We called when we thought we were lost and Kris got us on track. It was late when we arrived and we were tired so she settled us in and came back the next day when convenient for us and covered all our questions. Kris was always available and responded quickly. Everything we needed was available. All the staff was attentive and friendly and always smiling. There was cleaning service daily except for Sunday and food shopping or meal prep if desired. I have shared this property listing to several family and friends back home as everyone loves our pictures and wants to stay here! I must add the location is also close to town where you can enjoy an abundance of restaurants, bars, shopping, and beaches!
