Cozy Cottage Getaway
This was an annual anniversary vacation which because of an injury we would be staying inside more than out and that includes watching movies and get a lot of reading. My fault i never thought that because no TV was mentioned that it wouldnt have one but no tv. A laptop is available but its such a small screen so we used a desktop monitor hooked up to laptop so it worked out. The cottage is well appointed and is dog friendly, the kitchen is beautiful. The cottage does have a musty smell so the scented candles help. The bed was a log framed bed which was beautiful but difficult to get out of. The hosts were so wonderful, truly caring hosts. This is a wonderful cottage perfect for a quiet getaway.

Decent Home, Musty, HIGH FEES
This "old cabin-like" home is conveniently located on the Tunnel of Trees. Arrival and entering the home proved easy. The cabin has all the necessary items for a stay including books and good Internet. Pet friendly, the cabin has a good yard for small dogs. Some might consider the cabin quaint. There are scented candles provided. You will need the candles. Having owned many old homes, it's easy to see the home simply has a lot of deferred maintenance. Its best years are well behind it. The smell is overwhelming and musty; the odor never left during our stay but did diminish with candles and open windows. We tried to use the split unit for air upon arrival but it never worked. With moderate effort, we were able to open windows. With windows open, lots of noises enter the home, but at night the noises abate. With all the deferred maintenance, you can easily tell this cabin is for one thing and one thing only, generating revenue. The additional fees on a 3-night stay calculated to a whopping 36%, several hundred dollars. This fee includes a night mandatory damage fee. The fee structure does NOT include taxes. VRBO seems to be the middle man for money only. There are no instructions from VRBO on how to enter the home. The application simply says the owner will contact you. The owner did provide directions, but they should be available through the application on your phone. Don't recommend.

Great Getaway on the Tunnel of Trees
This property is perfect for enjoying the nature of upper Michigan. Located right on the Tunnel of Trees, a historic highway with a ton of history, you have the option to explore south to Harbor Springs or go north towards the Mackinaw bridge and the upper peninsula. It’s a peaceful place with beach access, and great for bird watching. The kitchen is incredible and well appointed. Great communication with the owners. Great place!

Best VRBO rental ever‼️
This cottage is a superb rental on Lake Michigan. Remote and quiet yet close enough to explore the area. Everything about this rental was perfect. Beautifully furnished, impeccable tasteful decor, super clean and well stocked with nearly every provision which is a fabulous bonus. Every little detail was thought of by these owners and their outreach and care was incredible. We are so grateful that they shared this impeccable home with us! Thank you for everything. Miss Stella Blue gives a four paws up approval for all the dog toys, especially the balls❣️

Short Get Away
My husband, our pup and I enjoyed the stay at the cottage. The listing is 100% accurate. This cottage is in the quiet woods along the shores of Lake Michigan. We made several sort day trips to local attractions of which the cottage is centrally located. The owners have thought of everything, from your first meal if needed to ID tags for your dog. The owners are super responsive to questions and made the process easy. We will be back!

Really a very nice one bedroom spot, in the woods with beach access to Lake Michigan. Nicely appointed. Away from the crowds (15 miles from nearest gas station) so a great place to plant it on the beach, hike in the woods and relax.

Wonderful Weekend
We came up for the Columbus Day weekend to see the fall colors and a the One Crow Cabin exceeded our expectations. Checking in and getting everything ready to be lived in was easy, despite getting in late. Also, we have been annoyed before by how barren the cabinets and drawers can be in vacation rentals but everything here was fully stocked and ready to be “lived in”. Great laid back weekend with easy accessibility to relaxing local destinations. Very cozy and quaint- perfect for us as a couple with an infant and a puppy.

One Crow Cottage, great location in the Tunnel of Trees
We had a great stay at One Crow Cottage. Location was perfect in the Tunnel of Trees. Harbor Springs was a short scenic drive from the cottage where you can enjoy dinner and shopping. Taking the ferry to Mackinac Island is a must do, also only a short drive away. Sunsets on the private beach are wonderful. Great pet friendly place to take your family.
