This facility was nice in appearance, but they use to many chemicals in mass quantities in the room and overall facility. The room smelled like someone dropped had spilled several gallons of cleaning chemical in the room. Although clean, if you have allergies this place will kill you. We opened all the windows as far as we could to vent the room, but the cleaning chemicals permeate and remained at the strength they we entered the room. I stopped by the front desk which was being manned by the assistant manager, and I told her about the down and chemical issues. If I were the manager, I would have at least noted that I would check the room and determine if there was an issue, but it seemed as though she was indicating we were unreasonable, even though we were not asking for anything. We just wanted to note our experience. She said that the chemicals used are dictated by corporate and there is nothing she could do about it. My girlfriend and I went to a concert near the area, and we both have bad allergies. They only had down pillows and a down cover in the room. This issue is on us as we could have called down to the desk to have the issue addressed but chose not to. Most hotels we go to have both down and hyper-allergenic pillows and covers in the room, but I was told they could have corrected this. The chemical issue is another story. The only real positive is that the rest of the staff were very nice, the breakfast was decent, and we did not die from allergies.
