“This was our second visit to the lodges and we weren’t disappointed. Room was spotless, good shower and plenty of sockets. The breakfast to go is a bonus and filling. There’s a lovely courtyard which we used to sit out and have supper. If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of a hectic life this is the place to come and unwind. The host was friendly and gave us suggestions of places to visit. Will definitely go back again.”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful and Memorable Stay
We had such a lovely stay at the Radcliffe Guest House in Ross-on-Wye and genuinely could not have asked for a warmer welcome.
From the moment we arrived, Geoff and Kim were incredibly friendly, welcoming and thoughtful. Geoff kindly helped us carry our luggage to our room when we checked in, which was such a lovely personal touch. He then spent time chatting with us and sharing lots of useful local knowledge, recommending places to visit, things to see and……
“We were not prepared for how much the beds would be slanting and difficult to sleep in. The floor of the room was very up and down, but there was no leveling platform underneath the bed, so we spent each night sleeping at a most uncomfortable angle, trying not to fall out of bed. The musician in the bar on Saturday night was directly under our room and we could not sleep until 10pm, which with jet lag was not helpful. Very friendly staff and great breakfasts, however.”
