“This was our second visit to the lodges and we weren’t disappointed. Room was spotless, good shower and plenty of sockets. The breakfast to go is a bonus and filling. There’s a lovely courtyard which we used to sit out and have supper. If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of a hectic life this is the place to come and unwind. “We were not prepared for how much the beds would be slanting and difficult to sleep in. The floor of the room was very up and down, but there was no leveling platform underneath the bed, so we spent each night sleeping at a most uncomfortable angle, trying not to fall out of bed. The musician in the bar on Saturday night was directly under our room and we could not sleep until 10pm, which with jet lag was not helpful. Very friendly staff and great breakfasts, however.”
