"Think cute city apartment meets your grandma's country cottage! We brought our pontoon boat and our puppy to get away to the lake for our anniversary and this place was perfect. A lot of personal touches that made us feel so welcome! Also, it was extremely clean. I want to be clear about a few things up front. The location is on a dirt road about 2 miles from the lake. We loved the quiet and the lack of lake front mosquitoes, but I saw the last review did not like the location. Google map it...

"Beautiful and well kept historic home! The owner and chef were extremely courteous and welcoming...we couldn’t have felt more welcome! The room and common areas were clean and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I only regret that we couldn’t finish the generous portions.
