“My expectations were not high, a cabin in Huntsville, however I did not expect an old RV wrapped in old pieces of wood to look as a cabin. Cabin 2 had not switch for the bed area so no lights has to use phone. The shower was micro, water was really hot, that was a plus. “The cabin itself is very nice. Walk to the lake is more like 15 minutes rather than the 3 that’s advertised but not a huge deal. The opening at the lake at the end of the trail is very small, and heavily brushed in so you can’t see much of the lake. The beds in the cabin were pretty bad, with the advertised pull out couch not having an actual pull out mattress on it, but rather a 3” foam mattress topper instead. “Man it was awesome. Felt like home away from home. We literally had like a perfect beach nook. Watching the lake through a thunderstorm when we arrived to waking up to a super beautiful sunrise that followed with an absolute gorgeous day at the lake. The decks/balcony gave way to plenty of lounging in the sun while the hammock let us sway forever in the breeze, listening to the water.
