A wonderful just off the a303 pub with cosy rooms and fab food , nice and quiet set in a lovely village with rich the owner on the New inn being very welcoming and helpful

Good value for money
It was a good stay in the New Inn. It's in a very quiet location, the owner was very helpful and friendly. The beds are comfortable, and the room is spacious for family stay. Only issue is the bathroom gets really wet when showering.

Overnight stay at The New Inn near Ilminster.
The hosts were most welcoming and we enjoyed a lovely overnight stay. We had an excellent evening meal, plus a delicious breakfast with best bacon I have ever tasted!
The atmosphere in the pub in the evening was very friendly
and just as a village pub should be full of locals.
