"We had a great stay here. Angie is lovely and made us feel very welcome. Facilities are fine including beer in the fridge and honesty box, and good choice of breakfast on the west-facing terrace on stilts out to the bay. We borrowed some bikes and cycled along to Bluff playa, which was practically deserted, but had good lunch places. Worth noting that Bocas is undergoing a major upgrade to their water, drainage and roads when we were there (April 2024) which meant the town was a bit chaotic,...

"I loved the privacy and peaceful nature of Akwaba lodge. Natali and family were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was superb! Really enjoyed spending my 30th here. They left me a little birthday gift which was a lovely. It was really clean and comfortable. We even got to go kayaking and paddle boarding with no extra charge! I would stay here again. Highly recommend. Thank you! "

"It’s was just what we were looking for. Not the hustle and bustle of city. It was up in the hill and we loved it!! If your going power goes out a lot on the island so bring flashlights! Overall great place! Car taxi can’t make the hill. So get a bus or truck taxi. Good times. "

"The hosts are very friendly and helpful. I had a minor issue in my room and Olivia responded right away and dealt with the issue even though it was later in the evening. Lots of wildlife around! The beach is great for surfing or for strolling around. It is further away from Bocas town and requires a taxi ride charging $20 one way. "

"This property is set within the beautiful jungle/beach area of Bluff Beach on Bocas Del Toro. The home is as beautiful as the pictures. The caretakers were very hospitable and available to help with whatever you needed help with. My husband and I received a massage from their recommended massage therapist and it was wonderful! We certainly hope to be able to come back one day!"

"A new property with a new concept that takes relaxation to new heights and allows for Mother Nature to overwhelm a guest with its majesty. While Playa Bluff is within a mile’s walk, this Balinese/Polynesian experience is very realistic and would challenge any 5-star resort on the Hawaiian islands (minus native traditions and common luau’s rituals). La Coralina is a true island gem and a must-see for the exigent vacationer placing RELAXATION second to none. Cannot wait to be back to unburden more stress."
