“excellent breakfast every day and varied menu. nice room, had a a fridge and coffee maker, sitting area and very clean pool. walkable to beach and few restaurants - beach was very nice. ”

“Great little cabin just far enough off the road to be able to appreciate being in the jungle. We saw howler monkeys, Toucans and other cool tropical birds. Great bed and shower. Awesome deck. David was extremely helpful with dinner reco’s, taxis etc…. Loved the location as it’s very walkable to beaches, restaurants, bike rentals. Highly recommend. ”

“While the grounds, rooms, and majority of the staff were wonderful, we had a very poor experience at this hotel. Our power went out twice, once for 14 hours during our stay. We were not able to have showers, lights, or use any of the facilities in your room. I told the manager, Abel, about this issue and he did. Nothing, rushing to leave the facility at the end of his shift rather than taking the time so simply flip the breaker for our room and restore power. We communicated our concerns in……

“Gino was very helpful. Room was ok but tired. We had to have Gino take our luggage up the hill in his 4 wheel drive truck. The town is dumpy with narrow dirt road. Dinning was fine. Snorkeling was great, BUT it requires a 1.5 hour ride each way in open water in a 20’ boat. On the way out we sat in the front of the boat. About every 5 minutes the boat smash down with me wondering if the boat and my back were going to break. Sit in the back of boat! ”

“We stay at a clean room equipped with basic but usefull kitchenette. The owner prepared daily breakfast charged with flavors and plenty of love. Have to say that we were treated like family. I suggest to try the home-made banana & nuts muffins, they're delicious. ”

“Absolutely amazing stay at The Hummingbird in Bocas del Toro. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly designed for relaxing. The rooms, pool, and overall layout are stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. The location is also perfect, just across from the beach, making it easy to enjoy walks and nearby beach bars. A perfect place to unwind. Highly recommend!”
