  • Come enjoy the peaceful waterfront and relax in this cozy, clean lakeside log cabin in the Kootenays. Steps from beautiful Kootenay Lake, the cabin provides easy access for boating, paddle boarding, kayaking & fishing. Recently updated with new kitchen appliances, flooring and air conditioning. Enjoy the picnic table, propane BBQ and steps to the lakeshore.

    Located 5 km south of Kaslo and 15 km north of Ainsworth Hot Springs.
    Cabin is available for Year Round bookings.

    3 nights minimum stay, non-smokers only please.

Very relaxing spot. Very clean and quite. Really close to other places to explore. Host was very nice and even though they are on the same property, it was like you had the place to yourself. The stairs going up to the loft are a little challenging, but all part of the charm. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the cabin was stocked. She pretty much had everything you would need.Will definitely be back.

Cozy Cabin

Excellent little cabin with a great view. Located ideally to go explore in all directions. Kaslo a few kms away in one direction and Ainsworth a few away the other direction. We really enjoyed our stay

All very good. The 2 bedrooms in loft area involved a very steep and narrow stairway, and the ceiling height in these 2 bedrooms was no more than 4 1/2 feet. Mattreses were on the floor. I don't believe this was described in the add.

We totally enjoyed our stay here. Couldn't have asked for a better location and the morning view is breathtaking. Would definitely stay again. The host is so warm and welcoming.
