The property was nice and our room was clean. However check in was at 4 pm. We arrived shortly before 5 pm and were told our on was not ready. We were gifted a $25 voucher to be used in the bistro at the hotel for the inconvenience and to return after we dined and ou room would be ready. The bistro was empty when we arrived and we were sat at a dirty table that we wiped down ourselves. The food was very expensive so we expected it to be high quality. However, we ordered steak that came out fried and breaded with no mention of it being that way on the menu. It was not an appetizer so this made no sense. It was paired with three limp, cold spears of asparagus. We also ordered mac & cheese w/brisket and it was served at room temperature and the brisket was rubbery and hard to chew. When our bill came and we presented the voucher only $10 was honored and not $25 as we were told. When we returned to check in an hour later at 6 pm (2 hours past our told check in time) the room was still not ready and multiple people were waiting. I then heard the woman at the desk give a room to someone, after we had been told our room was next an hour ago. We were not given a room until 7:30 pm. (3.5 hrs after check in) The room was clean however the cooling unit was so loud and made a repetitive clicking sound that sleep was impossible causing us to be awake all night. At check out no one was present at the desk to speak to. We dropped or room cards and left unable to speak to anyone.
