“Lovely Cabin on the Flambeau River. Nice view of the river and a great fire pit. Cabin is very comfortable and well-furnished. Mom and I enjoyed our stay. Might visit again in the fall when the mosquitos are not so bad.”

“This was my second stay so knew what to expect. Still wish there was a hand towel and towel hook available by sink. Water is not drinkable, but bottled water was provided. Very clean inside, outside grounds could use a lot of tlc.”

“Definite rustic cabin, with great view of lake from deck, kitchen nice to work in with use of grill is handy. Used the pontoon that was available but fishing was not very good while there. Downfall for us was the availability of any wi-fi or phone use which we needed, and the size of bathroom/shower is very small. We rode our ATV a lot on the local trails which was great fun.”

“Outside doesn’t really reflect the inside which was very nice. We tried to ice fish in the bay with only 1 small perch which we put on a tip up for a few hours with no success. Hit some local bars in the area, the Minnow has excellent service and a 8 oz cod that was what you come up north for. “We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for lounging and hanging out. Decor was great. I'm sure when the deck is finished it will be a great space. The only thing we didn't care for was that everything was on the 2nd floor. My brother is disabled and has balance issues and there was only 1 railing on the stairs. I had missed it in the description that it only mentioned the 1/2 bath and 1 bed on the main level.”

The tranquil call of the loons each evening were a perfect ending to each day. The main cabin and bunkhouse were very clean and tastefully decorated to make you feel very comfortable.
