“Had a quick trip out to Lake Whitney for a visit. Needed a place to overnight and found this place. Worked out for our needs. It sits out about 10 minutes east/northeast of Whitney on some caliche roads. Was peaceful and relaxing after a day of running around. Nice view and quiet. Bed comfy, a/c worked great (a bit of noise but nothing out of ordinary), and nice big bathroom area for small unit. Had small kitchen stuff with coffee bar, microwave, and small frig. Can't really cook but……

“The good: the tiny homes/cabins look well-constructed and durable, the host provided good information to help ensure that we found the property without issue, and it is a good price point for what you get. The cabin has great temperature control, well insulated, well kept, the shower and water pressure is wonderful, the microwave is a good size and convenient, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The view of the stars outside is amazing, it has a nice little patio, a great sunrise view, the……

“The pictures were misleading about this property and there is a terrible cat odor smell upstairs. There is one door that is locked that the smell seems to come from. One day we came back and this door was open and what looked like an old molded mattress was on the floor. There is no pool on property, nor is there access to one. The one listed is 30 minutes way and you do not have access to the pool since it is on another resort. We sat outside on the upstairs patio one night and were eaten……

“We really enjoyed our stay at this property. There were beautiful views! The Pros: The property has beautiful windows that span the living area, which makes for wonderful views while cooking, eating, & playing games. They have a very comfortable couch for movie time. They had multiple outdoor seating areas and the river is just a short jaunt from the house. You can even see the river from inside the house. There was tons of wildlife in the area: deer, owls, hawks, many birds, snakes, frogs,……
