"My main goal was to watch the stars and look through my telescope little did i know i would get to see a very prominent moon while sitting on the deck and it was awh inspiring its a beautiful spot to stay , it was peaceful and organic with an updated cabin which was awesome nice bed and a kitchenette cabinet with almost all utensils , big sink in the bathroom brand new toilet and walk in shower . "The room was clean. My son enjoyed his time at the pool. The breakfast was delicious. However, what made our stay exceptional was the friendly staff. When we had our car brake down, they were very accommodating by providing us with late check-out. They answered all our questions and showed kindness throughout our whole stay. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Whitney. The place is absolutely adorable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee maker, which made our stay very comfortable. We especially appreciated the plenty of hooks available for hanging towels—such a small detail, but it made a big difference. We did run into a minor issue during our stay, but the owner was very responsive and resolved it quickly, which we truly appreciated. The view is breathtaking, and the location is wonderfully secluded and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again! "

"This resort was a slice of Heaven in an area that feels quite remote. The check in is amazing because they just text you a code to get into your room so you don’t have to go to a main desk. The room felt massive and was extremely clean&gorgeous. There was a mini fridge that kept our food perfectly cold, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The grounds were well cared for, and just down the block we found a beautiful river. They were very welcoming to my dog, who I brought to get him out of the house while we were having work done. Checking out was a breeze, it was a simple text. If you want to get away and not talk to anyone, this is very possible here. But if you like to socialize, there were quite a few families hanging out in the main area playing games and talking. It’s not a party zone, at all, so if that’s what you’re looking for (I definitely wasn’t) then this is not the place for you. It was soul restoring, for sure. I plan to go back at least twice a year.The only thing I was confused about was that it said there was a $25 credit per day, but no one mentioned where to use that at check in (via text), so I asked and was told to use it in the self serve bodega for snacks or merch, but no instructions on how to do so, so I was unable to use that. There should be better information on that, without asking. No one entered my room to make the bed, pick up towels or trash so that was weird, but they did pick up my trash when I messaged.Wonderful stay, will be back again! "
