“Front desk staff was super friendly. Smooth check-in. If you're looking for the light switch that controls most of the room lights, it's behind the sliding bathroom door! Our room had a strong smell of sweat socks that I suspect was coming from the air conditioner, but everything seemed clean. Decent breakfast.”

“Our stay was great. Our only issue was that housekeeping services didn't start till 9am which meant that we didn't have access to towels and kitchen accessories, etc.till 9:00 am which was a little inconvenient. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!”

“Room located on traffic side of the building overlooking a metal scrap yard. How would you feel about that? The front desk staff we interacted with on several occasions, did not offer a gracious welcome or for that matter any smiles. I was asked at check-in if I booked room thru Expedia - not sure what that had to do with anything - but I wondered if that had anything to do with the location of our room and their attitudes? I have never been asked that question before. The housekeeping……

“First time we’ve stayed at this Hilton in downtown Asheville. Usually we stay at the Marriott. We were here only one night. The room was lovely and clean. It looked like it only recently been refreshed. The staff was very nice. We will definitely stay here again. ”

“I was pleasantly surprised by this property. It was extremely clean, the staff was personable, (even though we arrived at the property late at night), the rooms were large and quiet, beds comfortable, breakfast was truly delicious and well done. We used the airport shuttle and were pleased with the service there as well. The only minor complaint is that the trashcan in the breakfast area filled up quickly and needed attention but no staff was around to change the bag.”

“The staff was very nice and worked hard. They were on the spot for any needs and the room was clean. We had an issue with the toilet running but someone was there within five minutes to fix it. If you want a full service restaurant this is not the place to go. The bartender had kitchen equipment and a cold holding food unit at the bar to make the bar food. If anything was fried she had to go behind the wall to do it and the customers were left with no service. She did a great job and……
