The rug in the room was stained in many places. It may have been vacuumed clean but it was hard to tell. It felt like it had years of dirt ground into the fibers. There was only one bedside table. Not all lighting worked in the room. The lightbulbs were mismatched, which seems a petty complaint, but added to the overall lack ambiance of the room. The room was ok for an overnight stay in a pinch. The hotel lobby entrance had dusty holiday decorations from seasons past. A fire pull was hanging by wires on the hallway wall. Chairs not in use and other objects were stacked in a corner in an entrance way. The side doorway entrance to the property did not lock so no key was required to enter. The entire building has dust and debris all over it. Our bathroom was gross, there was a huge stain on the carpet that looked suspect and the fire detector kept on beeping, since the batteries needed replaced. My husbad went down to notify the front desk and they said they would be up in 30 minutes but then forgot. He ended up removing it so we could sleep.
