"Our flight was canceled due to Hurricane Erin; hence, our family ended up at Doubletree. It was approximately 12 minutes from CLT. We were able to book three rooms for the same day. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a warm smile, the check-in process was smooth, and their famous chocolate chip cookies made it feel like home. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff friendly. Shuttle service back to CLT was bonus."

"This hotel is a good bargain and had everything you would hope for in a moderate priced hotel. It was sparkling clean and well re-modeled. The owners invested a lot to bring it back. homeless people and drug dealers inhabited a short street behind a nearby shopping center. Why is the City of Charlotte so NEGLIGENT in allowing this? Charlotte voters should be outraged at crooked politicians for allowing this kind of anti-business activity to fester in in their city. "
