"This was the best villa I’ve ever stayed in. Check in was easy and the staff are friendly. Everything is clean and if you need something you can contact the front desk. Definitely will return. Also the food at the hotel was great. You need to rent a car to get around. "

"Checkin was an easy process. Dora was waiting for us when we arrived. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, even seasonings. Love the fact that there is an airfryer. There is also a speaker that you can you use for when you’re out by the pool or just want to play tunes in the villa. WiFi was strong. The pool is quite deep, but there are floaties and noodles available to use. Love the egg chair that’s on the patio. Views of the ocean are gorgeous, the sunset is a must see by the pool. Walking down to the restaurants on the resort are quick and easy. We only had a few issues during our stay, the power went out one night for 2 hours, but that affected the whole estate. Also, the drainage in some of the bathrooms was poor, but Dora said she would get it checked out. Of course we encountered a few critters (water bugs and a scorpion) coming from out of the bathroom drains, but apparently the drains go outside so that’s how they are able to come through the drain. Overall, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed our time in the villa. Dora was very helpful the whole time and I appreciate all the recommendations she gave. "

"I spent a week at Jan Kok while on a birding holiday. The property is safe, quiet, and perfect for those looking for privacy and seclusion. This is a great choice for birders, as the property has lots of plants and resident birds, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the nearby salina, where flamingos and other waterbirds abound. A car is absolutely necessary, but there's a grocery store and restaurants within a 10-minute drive. The lodges are very clean and stocked with all the basic kitchen tools, but bring your own soap, shampoo, and coffee or tea. Highly recommended for independent travelers who want to avoid the noise and bustle of resorts."

"We loved this apartment and were excited to explore like a local. View was amazing! Very clean and we loved the games for the family. If cooking, be aware there are limited dishes. Combo clothing washer/dryer was a nice option but we could never figure out how to dry the clothes. 2 tvs were in the apartment however only 1 worked and required an apple subscription to use. Power goes out quite often on the island. Would be nice to have a few fans. We loved The location and the quiet beach onsite. "
