“The stay was fabulous. The Red Lion was simply magnificent, the welcome super, pub ambiance super friendly all in all we will be attending and revisiting again The Red Lion is tucked away, just follow the sign as the place does ooz quality, has its own history which is fascinating its just great. Enjoy your stay ”

“Staff are very friendly including the restaurant staff. This hotel represents good value for money and is comfortable. You can hear the trains in certain parts of the hotel which is mentioned in the hotel description, we stay at the weekend so it wasn’t really an issue but during the week I would opt for a room at the other side of the hotel which is clear when booking a room. If in the area would stay again.”

“An excellent stay in an excellent location, made all the more special by the attentive nature of the staff, where nothing was too much trouble. From sorting out late night taxis, to extending checkout times for one member of our group, nothing seemed to be a problem. Comfy rooms and excellent breakfast, equals we would return in a heartbeat. ”
