"I was regretting my decision to book this room when I saw the outside of the motel. It is quite old. I was relieved when the room was nice and comfortable and clean. The walls had been painted, the t.v. was nice and there was a fridge with freezer and a microwave. The shower was warm and with decent pressure. Beds were fine."

They are both very easy to communicate with and respond to any questions quickly. I recommend this cozy getaway to anyone who wants to slow down and enjoy nature. "

"Staff was super friendly! The women at the front desk immediately greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. Check in was easy and fast. I was told about all the amenities the hotel offered clearly and in great conversation. My room was easy to find and was clean upon arriving. I absolutely loved the bathtub and the cleanliness of the entire room. The pool area was a bonus my children had a blast. The pool area was well stocked with towels and bathroom was clean. Elevators, hallways and stairwells were also very well kept. Breakfast was way better than expected so many options with a make your own waffle station which my kids enjoyed a lot. The breakfast attendant was present keeping the food stocked and breakfast area cleaned. She also welcomed us as we walked in. It was just an overall good experience and I will most definitely be staying here again. I appreciate everyone who made my stay amazing."

"Loved the rental! It is in excellent condition and the location is centrally located making it a convenient drive to Mattoon or Decatur. Sunsets were beautiful across the open fields. Will definitely be looking at using this location for family visits in the future. Thank you so much! "
